The Better Business Bureau serving Southeast, Central & Western Kansas has put out several press releases in the last few months about Alarm System Companies selling Door to Door illegally in the City of Wichita. We have checked with the city and as of today APX was denied licensing and Pinnacle is not licensed.
The most recent antics by Pinnacle has been to approach consumers and tell them that the “Better Business Bureau sent them out to install a new system because the current system was not installed by a properly licensed company.”
This is a false statement. The Better Business Bureau does not request or allow any one particular business to go out and solicit business in this manner. If a business an Accredited Business member they are allowed to state they are members, and post the BBB logo in many ways.
